Crossee installs as a web app: a one-time tip shows how, with directions for the browser in your hand. On Android Chrome the button installs it outright.

Finishing is instant. The pause between the last letter and the celebration — a few seconds on some phones — is gone; the chime and the wave land with the keystroke.
Reopening a half-done puzzle starts the cursor at the first empty square, not square one.

Your streak is now a coffee-ring stamp on the finish card — the mark a mug leaves on the morning paper — with your best run right under it.
The finish card slimmed down: a link to the archive beside “View solved puzzle”, and a link to r/crossee, the community.
The solve celebration ripples out from the letter you finished on.
The cursor got smarter: the letter that completes a word jumps to the next empty square, and finishing the last across clue drops you into the downs.

Reveal is open to everyone — no key. A revealed puzzle simply does not count towards your streak.
Solving is smoother: the clue you are on shows above the grid, every clue carries its answer length, typing skips letters already in place, and a ✓ key on the phone keyboard checks your grid.
A Share button on the finish card — send your time (and streak) to the group chat.
Streaks arrived: days in a row, counting back, with your best run remembered.
594 new words joined the list, from Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Odia, Assamese, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Konkani and the Northeast.
